The SuperSport Rugby Challenge are back this weekend as the countries provincial sides will fight it out for the cup.

The competition was won last year by the Pumas and we expect a huge onslaught from all the teams to challenge them for the 2019 title.

We will see the Pumas, Border Bulldogs, Western Province, Eastern Province, Blue Bulls, Golden Lions, Sharks, Free State Cheetahs, Griffons, Griquas, Leopards, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Valke, Boland and SWD fighting it out in two groups.

The Pumas and Blue Bulls will start it all on Friday in Nelspruit ending the weekend with a double header when DHL Western Province take on SWD Eagles and Boland Cavaliers taking on the EP Elephants.

The competition format have changed, splitting the teams into two sections, North and South, with the top two teams from each section progressing to the semifinals.

Namibia home matches will be played in Windhoek while Zimbabwe will be based at False Bay Rugby Club.

Both WP v SWD and Boland v EP will be broadcast live on Super Sport on Sunday afternoon.
