BG Uys starts at loosehead prop, while Caylib Oosthuizen moves to the bench in place of Maks van Dyk, who has been released to play for the Barbarians against Samoa in London.

Tertius Kruger also comes in on the bench, with the injured Tienie Burger missing out.

The Cheetahs will be looking to regain revenge on WP, having narrowly lost 9-3 at a rain-soaked Newlands two weeks ago.

The Cheetahs comes off a good win against Griquas last week and will want to build on that performance. This week match can be looked at in two different way, firstly WP will be coming hard at them after the humiliated lost at the hands of the Blue Bulls last week or the Cheetahs can use WP lost to hit them again like the Blue Bulls did.

Friday’s clash at the Free State Stadium kicks off at 19:10.
